Ministries to get involved with…

"Men and Women" The Men of Mekkadah and Women's Ministry of MCC is a component of the total life of the Murfreesboro Community Church congregation. This Ministry exists to lead the men and women into a mature and more meaningful relationship with the Lord, and with one another as they confront specific issues that relate to men and women from a biblical perspective.

"Finance Ministry" (1 Corinthians 9: 13 – 14)
This ministry is responsible for overseeing the finance and physical activity of MCC. We not only have spiritual obligations that require decency and order, but also legal areas that must be adhered to. (Ex Collecting and accounting for the resources given to MCC)

"Children and Youth Ministry" Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me." (Mark 10:14).  Discipling our children and teens is an important part of our mission at MCC. Our "Future Greatness (Teens) and Promise Kids youth ministry includes 4 th Sunday morning Children in Worship services. We meet on Wednesday nights for life learning Bible studies.

"Greeters / Ushers / Hospitality Ministry" (Luke 17: 7-10)
This area is of great importance, because it is usually the first opportunity we have to make an impression on the souls God has sent our way. (Ex Make all events, spiritual or social, as enjoyable experience as possible)

"Communication Ministry" (Matthew 24: 26 – 50)
To make sure the information is disseminated as quickly and accurately as possible to all who might be affected. (Ex- Bulletin, Newsletters, Social Media, Web Site)

"Building Maintenance and Repair" (Mark 11: 15 – 18)
God did not provide us with an edifice in which we could meet Him and provide services for His body if we were not going to respect and care for it. (Ex- Outside and inside maintenance)

"Audio – Visual Ministry" (Romans 8: 28)
To make sure that all in attendance are able to see, hear and understand the events taking place. By addressing the needs of all who may be present and any particular needs they may have (Ex- healing, sight, physical challenge)

"Music Ministry" (Matthew 26: 26 – 30)
To enhance the worship experience in close collaboration with the pastoral ministry and to develop and encourage the ambitions of others to express their gifts of song.

"Couples Ministry" (Matthew 19:5-6) "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh'? So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate."

"Bread of Life" (Matthew 25:35) Food boxes for the community once a month" 'For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink; I was a stranger and you took me in;

"Fifty Plus Ministry" (1 Peter 5:5) The Fifty-Plus Ministry provides an opportunity for the senior members of the church to fellowship and bond through activities designed to encourage unity and spiritual growth.  Community outreach, mentoring younger members, and going on social outings are staples for this ministry and its active members.  Demonstrating kindness, providing encouraging and correcting words, and being consistent witnesses of God's blessings, the members of this ministry are examples to the rest of the church as to what a grace-filled life looks like.

"Intercessory Prayer"  Prayer is the most potent force known to humanity. Because we have been made partakers in Jesus' victory over sin and death (1 John 4:4), we have the authority as sons and daughters of God to pray for others, pushing back the darkness of sin and oppression. In prayer, we have a weapon that has "divine power to destroy strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4).
